Hale & Well Met

Hale Mueller (they/he) is a trans, latine/german, artist, writer, and game dev currently living in the Greater Lansing area. They graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in creative writing and literature in 2020. His work centers around themes of queerness, monstrosity, fairies, and intimacy, often utilizing speculative settings or elements. Their visual art is shared with the world under the name Hale and Well Met, and they develop interactive fiction and other small-scale games as skiddyhale. The full body of their work includes illustrations, short stories, poems, audio dramas, comics, and games because they need as many mediums as possible to help put a name to their nest in identity limbo.

His work has been published in beestung, Prismatica Magazine, Lammergeier, and Corvid Queen.
